Rehabilitation of the individual, society, and the environment

Tyranny has destroyed Iranian lives and livelihood. Children, women, and minorities especially have suffered profoundly. The country is in environmental apocalypse. Resuscitation is needed if Iran is to survive.

At Cyrus Forum we believe the individual’s universal human rights are pre-determinants of a strong nation, as are her access to quality education, healthcare, and psycho-social wellbeing. We also know human development—and national security—depend on a natural habitat that is well-managed to be abundant, clean, and sustainable.

Holistic rehabilitation of the individual, society, and the environment will become possible only after tyranny has passed. We will focus on the most pressing factors for transformation of the education and health sectors, and the actions necessary to reverse Iran’s ecological plummet.

Our advisors include Iran’s top experts in these areas. We will work with the world’s leading practitioners and apply global best practices. We will glean lessons from other countries that have successfully restored human dignity and development to build our own capacity.

We are especially motivated to develop strategies to:

—Reverse gender apartheid

—Liberalize the education system

—Rescue Iran’s ecology, particularly its water

—Rid the health system of corruption and inefficiency

—Remedy persecution, intolerance, and marginalization

—Provide solutions and support to the most vulnerable, including those suffering from poverty and labor exploitation, especially child labor; drug addiction; human trafficking and prostitution; and domestic violence, sexual abuse, and sexual harassment
